Digital nomad Jeremy Enns is Canadian. His girlfriend is American. Due to visa situations, to stay together they have to travel (which they love anyway).

Jeremy Enns is location independent nomad and the CEO & Storyteller In Chief of Counterweight Creative.

But traveling and living the nomadic life isn’t as easy during a global pandemic. Jeremy and his partner have made it work by slowing down how often they move. Over the last year, they spent the largest amount of time in Edinburgh.

On the LIVE Without Borders podcast, Jeremy shares his top tips for what you need to eat, drink, and do in Scotland’s capital city. And he made a handy little map of the places he talked about in this episode.

Edinburgh’s best according to Jeremy

Twelve Triangles bread shop

“I remember walking by one morning and saw this line down the block and around the corner. And it was raining too...It turns out it's this bread shop called Twelve Triangles...All the staff are hipster dudes with big beards and tattoos. And they also made fantastic coffee, but the bread was just incredible.”

Arthur’s Seat

“There is an extinct volcano that overlooks the city called Arthur’s Seat. It's in the middle of this park. The city wraps around and there are just so many walking trails.”

Portobello Beach

“Portobello Beach...there's a nice seaside market and restaurants and things along there. There's a great walkway and you can walk along that for many miles in either direction. It takes you through these old villages. One is called Dean village, which is this really quaint village right in the middle of the city somehow with really old architecture.”
