1:1 Communication Coaching for Introverts with Performance Anxiety

Speak confidently in front of a room, online, and in social situations without becoming a sweaty, blushing mess with a stress headache.

You’re tired of feeling anxious when all eyes are on you

✔️ One-on-one, you’re a great conversationalist. But in a group, your armor goes up. Suddenly you feel like you can’t get a word in.

✔️ People praise you for your calm speaking style, but inside you’re dying. Public speaking costs you sleepless nights and a day to recover.

✔️ When writing, you’re so articulate. But speaking off the cuff? Brain freeze!

✔️ The dialogue in your head is so eloquent. But amnesia takes over in conversations where you feel others have more experience / authority.

You’re ready to change

You know something’s gotta give to reach the income and inner peace you want. You may have tried…

✔️ prescription pills

✔️ psyching yourself up

✔️ meditation

✔️ lavender oil

✔️ alcohol

✔️ positive self-talk

✔️ telling yourself to calm down

But you still feel like a hot mess internally.

You’re not alone

Many business leaders, coaches, and influencers telling their audience to “keep showing up and grinding it out’’ are assertive extroverts wired to push forward. They have no clue what public speaking is like for introverts.

As you’ve no doubt realized, our world caters to extroverts’ strengths and preferences. So it’s natural to feel like people only pay attention to the most outspoken personalities.

But here’s the thing…

You can have as much influence as the loudest extrovert in the room.

And you can confidently share your ideas without wanting to hide under a blanket.

As your communication and mindset coach, I can help you:

✔️ Stop feeling invisible — learn how to speak so people listen in any setting.

✔️ Start effectively addressing and resolving conflict (instead of avoiding it) to keep team dynamics positive and work flowing smoothly.

✔️ Develop a dynamic vocal presence that captivates and inspires your audience.

✔️ Speak clearly and concisely, ensuring everyone understands your perspective and directive — no more meandering and forgetting what you were saying.

✔️ Give constructive, caring feedback to help your people grow.

✔️ Make impactful decisions. Assert your stance in a manner that's respectful yet firm.

✔️ Reduce mental fatigue by trusting your decisions and taking committed action.

✔️ Cultivate a resilient mindset that prepares you to manage high-pressure scenarios with grace and poise — including public speaking.

Stop babbling when you talk testimonial

Hi, I’m Sarah

Introverts work with me to become more calm, confident communicators.

You’ll learn the essential verbal and non-verbal skills necessary to elevate your presence and charisma and capture people’s attention.

Equally important, you’ll learn to manage your mind and body so you feel less anxious and more confident speaking up and being decisive.

My coaching isn’t about wishful thinking. I use evidence-based tools that blend psychology, somatic work, and Stoic philosophy to transform you from the inside out.

1:1 Coaching includes

✔️ Nine 50-minute virtual sessions (the first session is 120 min). Our time together is customized around your communication and confidence goals.

✔️ Reflections and follow-up. I’ll make notes of your ‘aha’ moments during our time together and share them, along with guidance on how to take your breakthroughs even further.

✔️ Tailored resources. I’ll share material specifically created for this program, as well as other resources customized to your needs and interests.

✔️ Voicemail access. While you’re a client, you’ll have Voxer voicemail access to me during working hours. Need me to talk you off a ledge before a presentation? You got it.

In addition to practical communication skills, I’ll teach you how to reduce your public speaking anxiety

When we work together, you’ll learn how to enhance your presence so others see you as a poised and self-assured communicator. But it's not just about how you come across. You’'ll learn to manage your thoughts and feelings, so you’re less jittery speaking up and more confident in all areas of life.

You see, your habit of hiding is simply a pattern that’s been cranking on autopilot. Together, we’ll rewire your brain so you start speaking with more confidence.

I use evidence-based tools that blend modern psychology and ancient wisdom, including the Enneagram and Stoicism. It's fascinating to think that more than two thousand years ago, the Stoics were practicing therapeia, the foundation of today's leading treatment for anxiety: cognitive behavioral therapy.

Learning how to emotionally regulate your mind and body is essential to being an effective communicator – it also reduces stress levels, positively affects relationships, and improves your overall health.

Feel as calm and confident as you look on the outside. Less anxiety, more influence, happier days at work and at home.

Introverts are more anxious than extroverts

Studies show that introverts have more highly reactive amygdalae than extroverts.

The amygdala is the most ancient part of our brain and is constantly scanning the environment for threats. This is the fight-or-flight response that raises our heart rate and cortisol levels.

Introverts’ bodies are more sensitive to stimulation and novelty: New people, new smells – everything we’re taking in with our senses.

We introverts even sweat more than extroverts, who have thicker, cooler skin that’s less reactive to emotions and external stimuli. That’s actually where the word ‘cool’ came from, as in cool, calm, and collected.

When we’re center stage, sensations in our body trigger thoughts and feelings of danger and vulnerability. Our amygdalae fire off warnings to get out of the spotlight and find safety.

Extroverts, on the other hand, are generally more comfortable with public speaking. While they can still get nervous, the threshold for what’s considered a threat is much higher.

But performance and/or social anxiety doesn’t have to hold back your career.

Imagine the opportunities waiting for you when you:

  • Become more confident and decisive, stepping into the spotlight instead of shying away from it.

  • Captivate people with great stories, increasing your ability to lead change.

  • Impress others with your calm and eloquence, from employees to executives.

  • Manage conflict with compassion and authority in a way that feels good.

  • Give feedback that helps people grow and develop personally and professionally.

  • Conquer your fear of public speaking – and learn to love it.

You will never have this day again. Make it matter.
